Managing Director, Senior Controller
Mr. Rogers is a Managing Director and Senior Controller at MGG Investment Group. In this capacity, Mr. Rogers oversees fund accounting, tax and various operational matters ensuring timely and best-in-class financial reporting for MGG’s clients while supporting strategic decision making and operational improvement.
Prior to joining MGG, Mr. Rogers served as Chief Financial Officer and Financial Advisor to a court-appointed receiver for a group of private credit funds. In this capacity, he managed all accounting, tax, operations, compliance, and investor relations needs. Mr. Rogers worked hand in hand with outside legal counsel and investment advisors to structure, negotiate and document the workout or sale of a wide range of investment assets across various industries. Mr. Rogers spent the first 9 years of his career as an auditor where he led audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of financial services clients, providing strategic guidance and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Mr. Rogers is a CPA licensed in New York and holds a BS in Accounting from Nicholls State University.
